Dwa wiersze of Vermeerze

Dwa wiersze of Vermeerze
In the quiet of his smallish rooms,
Vermeer painted scenes of daily life,
Capturing moments that would exude
A timeless charm, devoid of strife.
His subjects were often women fair,
Surrounded by furniture and decor,
But in his brushstrokes, they took on air,
With light and shadow, he did adore.
Working slowly with great care,
He used pigments both rare and dear,
Creating hues beyond compare,
That still today bring us near.
Though he lived and died in obscurity,
With debts and a modest celebrity,
His legacy has grown in maturity,
As one of the Dutch Golden Age's greats, undoubtedly.
Art of Hals, Rembrandt, his peers,
May have traveled far and wide,
But Vermeer's genius, through the years,
In his smallish rooms, has never died.
Wiersz drugi
In the bustling world of Dutch Golden Age,
Many artists traveled far and wide,
But Vermeer, Hals, and Rembrandt, with grace,
Found inspiration in their homely stride.
While Rembrandt and Hals are renowned,
Their travels across Europe are well-known,
Vermeer, however, stayed put in his hometown,
Finding beauty in the scenes he's shown.
Vermeer's paintings, in two smallish rooms,
Display the furniture and decor he knew,
And often depict women with gentle blooms,
Creating timeless scenes, both warm and true.
Though he never left his hometown,
Vermeer's talent shines bright,
In his art, the world is shown,
With depth, clarity, and light.
